About the Oodles Family
In the Summer of 2009, Ron and Lynn Dickerson made the decision to leave corporate America behind. The family pledged to make the next chapter of its lives about doing work that brings joy and satisfaction. They knew Modesto was where they wanted to be – among hundreds of friends who loved them. So they moved back to Modesto – a community they had grown to love in the seven years they lived there from 2000–2007, and where Ross and Ryan grew up and graduated from high school.
During that summer, Ron & Lynn had become “addicted” to frozen yogurt. Frozen yogurt shops were popping up all over Sacramento but not so much in Modesto. Seeing an unmet need in the town they knew and loved, they committed to opening their first frozen yogurt store, and thus Oodles Frozen Yogurt, Inc. was born.
